The collections, documentary and library materials of the Department represent processes and events significant for the activities of electric power industry – production, transmission and distribution of electric power, development of local electric power industry, as ell as origin and development of electric power system in the territory of Serbia. The department also contains material that illustrates the course of electrification, with all specificities of acceptance of this global phenomenon in our circumstances, as well as material on relevant aspects of energy industry – from exploitation of energy sources to effects on the environment.
