S.U.T.R.A.
The oldest festival in Serbia dedicated to the combination of art, science and technology.
Changing patrons over time, it went through turbulent periods, was on the verge of survival for a while, and finally found a place in the Museum of Science and Technology. To mutual satisfaction, the Museum recognized the importance and quality of the Festival, which ensured the Festival its tomorrow (SUTRA)
Festival S. U. T. R. A. was created in 2009 as a pilot project within the third Science Festival. As part of the festival program, science-art films were shown in cooperation with the Science Film Festival from New York, and Visikord software, developed by Davor Magdić (USA), was also presented. Second Festival of S. U. T. R. A. was realized as part of the 2010 Science Festival. Third Festival of S. U. T. R. A. it was realized as part of the Science Festival in 2011, in the Gallery of the National Bank of Serbia. The Festival was held in the Youth Center of Belgrade for the fourth and fifth time (2013 and 2014), as part of the European Soft Control project. The festival officially becomes a project of the Museum of Science and Technology in 2016, in its sixth edition. Seventh Festival of S. U. T. R. A. (2017) had a thematic focus ("The Machine") for the first time.
